BUSINESS QUIZ FOR THE YEAR 2013
The National Management Quiz with special focus on HR was designed by the NIPM, as an innovative, interactive programme to facilitate a copious flow of knowledge and ideas. The competition was aimed to encourage competitiveness amongst students of post graduate level business teaching institutions on one side and recognize excellence on the other.
The participation of over 300+ teaching institutions engaged in MBA/ MIB/MSW programs reinforces the utility and diligence of this prestigious competition. The total prize money announced is more than 4.00 lakhs.
The preliminary rounds of the quiz be held at 3 centers on 17th , 19th and 20th aug. ‘14. the shortlisted teams from prelims will participate in the chapter level quiz on 24.08.2013 at Coimbatore. Subsequently the winners will be taking part in the regional level quiz on 24.08.2013 at Coimbatore. Finally, the national level quiz has been programmed to be held at Goa.
The We have conducted the Southern Regional level National Business Quiz-2013 at PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore on 31.08.2013. Twelve teams comprising 2 students in each team from southern regional chapters viz., Coimbatore, Chennai, Karnataka, North Karnataka, Kerala, Mysore and Mangalore have participated. Prof. M.Rangarajan, Associate Professor, PSG College of Arts & Science along with Mr V.Aravind Subramanyam of “Mindgames”, Coimbatore have conducted the quiz program. The12 teams were divided into two groups of 6 teams each and preliminary rounds conducted. From the preliminary rounds, 6 teams were selected for final rounds. In the final round of competition, 3 teams were selected and awarded cash prizes as per the NBQ 2013 norms.
The prize money was awarded to the successful teams in the valedictory function presided by Shri S.Davidson Devasirvatham, IPS, Inspector General of Police, West Zone, Tamilnadu. As per the NBQ 2013 program, the eligible top two teams were sent to contest in the National level competition held on 26th Sept. 2014 at Panaji, Goa.
